לומדי כאן: Future perfect עונה על שאלה אחת: האם הדבר כבר יהיה גמור עד הרגע הזה בעתיד. אם כן, כותבים will have וצורה שלישית.
הצורה: will have + verb-3
ב-Future perfect simple משתמשים בשלושה חלקים: will, אחריה have, ואחריה הצורה השלישית של הפועל (verb-3), שנקראת גם past participle. דוגמאות: I will have finished. She will have left. They will have arrived. הצורה זהה לכל הנושאים, ו-have לא הופכת ל-has: she will have left. בפעלים regular הצורה השלישית נראית כמו העבר: finish - finished. בפעלים irregular צריך לזכור אותה: write - written, see - seen, go - gone, eat - eaten, take - taken.
דבר שיסתיים עד נקודה בעתיד (5 יח"ל)
משתמשים בצורה הזאת כשרוצים לומר שמשהו צפוי להסתיים עד נקודת זמן מסוימת בעתיד. הדוגמה מהתוכנית: I'd like to meet you but I'm going to the football match in the afternoon. However, we can definitely arrange to meet at 4:30 pm as the match will have finished by that time. נקודת הזמן בעתיד היא 4:30. עד אז המשחק כבר יסתיים. מילת הזמן שמופיעה לרוב היא by: by that time, by Friday, by next week. עוד דוגמאות: By Friday, the builders will have completed the roof. By the end of the year, I will have read ten books.
שני מצבים בעתיד: איזה נגמר קודם
Future perfect נוח כשיש שני רגעים בעתיד ורוצים לומר שפעולה אחת תסתיים לפני רגע אחר. בדוגמה: הפגישה ב-4:30 היא הרגע בעתיד, והמשחק יסתיים לפניה. כך גם במשפט: By the time you arrive, I will have cooked dinner. הארוחה תהיה מוכנה כשהאורחים יגיעו. שימו לב שכאן לא אומרים מתי הפעולה התחילה או כמה זמן היא נמשכה. אומרים רק שעד הנקודה היא כבר תהיה גמורה.
מה התוכנית מוסיפה, ומה היא משאירה בחוץ
התיאור הרשמי אומר שהצורה משמשת לדבר על דבר שצפוי להסתיים, או לא להסתיים, עד נקודה בעתיד. אבל הוא מגדיר רק "Affirmative form" ומביא רק דוגמה חיובית. לכן בשיעור הזה מתרגלים את הצורה החיובית, will have + verb-3. הטעויות הנפוצות: להשתמש ב-has במקום have, למשל "She will has left", או לכתוב פועל בצורת הבסיס במקום verb-3, למשל "I will have finish".

- by 4:30 הוא נקודת זמן בעתיד, ועד אליה המשחק יסתיים.
- הצורה: will have + verb-3.

- אחרי will בא have, ולא has.
- completed היא הצורה השלישית, והיא תקינה.
- by Friday הוא רגע מוגדר בעתיד, ולכן Future perfect מתאים.

Complete with the correct form of write: By tomorrow morning, she ___ the whole report.
- by tomorrow morning הוא רגע בעתיד, והפעולה תהיה גמורה.
- write הוא irregular: write - wrote - written.

- Future perfect simple נדרש ב-5 יח"ל בלבד, ולא ב-3 ו-4 יח"ל.
- הצורה: will have + verb-3, לכל הנושאים: she will have left.
- משתמשים בה לדבר על משהו שצפוי להיות גמור עד נקודה בעתיד: the match will have finished by that time.
