Future continuous

לומדי מסביר

לומדי כאן: אחרי will תמיד בא be, אף פעם לא is או are, ואחריו פועל עם ing. מספיק לזכור שלושה חלקים: will, be, ing.

הצורה: will be + verb-ing

Future continuous בנוי משלושה חלקים: will, אחריה be, ואחריה הפועל עם ing. דוגמאות: I will be working. She will be traveling. They will be studying. אותה צורה מתאימה לכל הנושאים. את be לא משנים לפי הנושא: אחרי will תמיד כותבים be, ולא am, is או are. הקיצור הרגיל הוא ll: I'll be working. הפועל מקבל ing, כמו ב-book - booking ו-move - moving (e נופלת לפני ing).

פעולה שמתבצעת ברגע מוגדר בעתיד (3, 4 ו-5 יח"ל)

בחיוב משתמשים בצורה הזאת כדי לדבר על פעולה שתהיה באמצע, ברגע מוגדר בעתיד. הדוגמה מהתוכנית: I'm getting very excited about our summer holiday. In fact, this time next week, I'll be booking the flight. הרגע המוגדר הוא this time next week, ובאותו רגע הפעולה תהיה בעיצומה. עוד דוגמה: At nine o'clock tomorrow, the students will be taking the exam. מילים כמו at nine o'clock tomorrow ו-this time next week מסמנות את הרגע. הצורה הזאת נדרשת בחיוב בשלוש הרמות.

שינוי במצב קבוע בעתיד (3, 4 ו-5 יח"ל)

הדוגמה השנייה של התוכנית היא: My mother was promoted to bank manager of the Acre branch. That means that next month my family and I will be moving to Acre. כאן יש תוכנית שכבר סגורה, וגם בה משתמשים ב-will be + verb-ing. כותרת השורה בתוכנית מדברת על future arrangements, כלומר סידורים לעתיד. אין צורך להתלבט אם מדובר בפעולה באמצע או בתוכנית: בשני המקרים הצורה זהה, ומילות הזמן הן שמציינות את העתיד: next month, this time next week, at nine tomorrow.

שלילה: won't be + verb-ing (4 ו-5 יח"ל בלבד)

ב-4 וב-5 יח"ל צריך להכיר גם שלילה, כדי לומר שפעולה לא תתקיים ברגע מוגדר בעתיד. הדוגמה: The management had to decide on who would lead the project. John applied for the position, but he won't be leading the project because he is too inexperienced. ג'ון לא יוביל את הפרויקט. הצורה: won't be + verb-ing. ב-3 יח"ל התוכנית אינה מגדירה שלילה, ולכן תלמידי 3 יח"ל נדרשים רק לחיוב. טעות נפוצה: לשכוח את be ולכתוב "He won't leading". אחרי won't בא be, ורק אחריו פועל עם ing.

דוגמאות פתורות

Complete with the Future continuous: This time next week, I ___ (book) the flight.

  1. this time next week הוא רגע מוגדר בעתיד.
  2. הצורה: will be + verb-ing.
  3. book מקבל ing: booking.

תשובה: This time next week, I will be booking the flight. / I'll be booking the flight.

Complete: Next month my family and I ___ (move) to Acre.

  1. next month מציין זמן בעתיד, והתוכנית כבר סגורה.
  2. הצורה: will be + verb-ing.
  3. move נגמר ב-e, והיא נופלת לפני ing: moving.

תשובה: Next month my family and I will be moving to Acre.

Make the sentence negative (4 and 5 points): John will be leading the project.

  1. בשלילה מוסיפים not אחרי will.
  2. will not אפשר לקצר ל-won't.
  3. be ופועל עם ing נשארים: be leading.

תשובה: John will not be leading the project. / John won't be leading the project.

Correct the mistake: At nine tomorrow the students will taking the exam.

  1. חסר be בין will לבין הפועל עם ing.
  2. הצורה הנכונה: will be + taking.
  3. at nine tomorrow הוא רגע מוגדר בעתיד, ולכן Future continuous מתאים.

תשובה: At nine tomorrow the students will be taking the exam.

  1. אחרי will be בא פועל עם ing.
  2. move הופך ל-moving.

תשובה: Next month my family will be moving to Acre.

5. Make the sentence negative (4 and 5 points): Dana will be working on Friday.תרגול
  1. מוסיפים not אחרי will, או משתמשים ב-won't.
  2. be working נשארים בלי שינוי.

תשובה: Dana will not be working on Friday. / Dana won't be working on Friday.

6. Write a sentence with the Future continuous about what you will be doing at eight o'clock tomorrow evening.שאלה בהקשר

  2. בודקים שיש will, be ופועל עם ing, ושיש רגע מוגדר בעתיד.
